The Perfect Lentils

Shopping List 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lentils (organic if possible)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • to taste salt & pepper

Directions

  • Rinse lentils well, then add them to a bowl with water. Soak overnight, then rinse again
  • Add lentils to a bowl and combine with vegetable broth, seasoning, and oil
  • Add the bowl to a steamer pan where you would normally place vegetables. Cover with a lid and steam for 20 - 30 minutes.
