Macadamia Sour Cream

Macadamia nuts are creamy and perfect for making sour cream. Trust me, this is better than the store-bought sour cream alternatives. Give it a try!

Shopping List 

Ingredients

1.5 cups macadamia nuts*

1/2 cup unsweetened, unflavored plant milk OR water

2 Tbsp lemon juice

salt to taste

    Blend Ingredients until smooth. Store in the refrigerator

*When possible, I use salt-free macadamia nuts. If you can’t locate them, simply salt to taste after blending, so the sour cream isn’t too salty. If you find raw macadamia nuts: Rinse, then soak them in water for 2 hours. Strain and rinse again, then blend
