Ancho Chile Salsa Cremosa
This recipe is my home-made version of Herdez brand chipotle salsa cremosa, which is a delicious store-bought sauce, but with that, comes the added ingredients for preservation. We eat this sauce on everything from savory breakfast, to tacos, to curry, and much more.Ā

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened, unflavored plant milk OR water
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1 cup blanched & slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, roughly chopped
- 1 small handful fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeno
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp ancho chile powder
- salt to taste
Directions
- Blend Ingredients until smooth. Store in the refrigerator
