Kiwi Cucumber Ginger Juice

I recently did a poll and was surprised to find out that most people prefer kiwi over strawberries. So, you know I had to make a delicious Turnip Vegan drink using kiwi! For this one, it helps to have a fine mesh stainless steel strainer to remove the pulp.

Shopping List 

Ingredients

  • 1 & 1/2 fresh cucumbers
  • 2.5 cups water, divided
  • 6 fresh kiwi fruits
  • 1.5 tsp grated ginger
  • 2-3 Tbsp maple syrup (leave out for raw diet)

Directions

  • Peel and roughly chop 1 & 1/2 cucumbers (save the other half for a salad or garnish)
  • Add cucumbers to a blender with 1.5 cups water. Blend until smooth. Then strain the liquid into a large glass or pitcher. Place to the side
  • Peel kiwis then blend with 1 cup water, grated ginger, and maple syrup (leave out for raw diet)
  • Strain juice into the large glass or pitcher, to combine with cucumber juice
  • Serve juice over ice and enjoy!
