Elder Orange Boost
If you haven't ever made elderberry juice at home, it beats any of that medicinal stuff you find at the store. Just be sure to fully cook the elderberries, as uncooked elderberries are not safe for consumption. I find frozen elderberries at a local specialty store, so you may need to call around to your local grocers to find these.

Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen elderberries
- 3 cups water
- 3 cups fresh orange juice
Directions
Makes 32oz
- Bring elderberries and water to a rolling boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 20-30 minutes ***It is very important to cook elderberries thoroughly. Raw elderberries are toxic.***
- Strain off the liquid, using a fine mesh strainer, into a glass pitcher or wide-mouth glass. Press elderberry pulp to release the remaining liquid
- Mix 1 cup of elderberry juice with 3 cups of orange juice. Serve over ice and enjoy!
