Nut & Dairy Free Cheese Sauce

So, you've been asking for a cheeze sauce that's nut-free and dairy-free, right? Something you can pour over your veggies or chili? 🥦 Well, guess what? I've upgraded my nut-free cheeze recipe, and it's even yummier now!

Shopping List 

Ingredients

  • 1 large potato, peeled & chopped (about 2 cups)
  • 1-2 medium carrots, peeled & chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 3/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 + 1/4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 Tbsp arrowroot powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp liquid amino
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • to taste salt

Directions

  • Boil 2 cups of chopped & peeled potatoes and one cup of chopped & peeled carrots for about 15 minutes
  • Drain the potatoes and carrots then add to a blender with all other ingredients
  • Blend until smooth. Best served warm.
