Nut & Dairy Free Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 large potato, peeled & chopped (about 2 cups)
- 1-2 medium carrots, peeled & chopped (about 1 cup)
- 3/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 + 1/4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 Tbsp arrowroot powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp liquid amino
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- to taste salt
Directions
- Boil 2 cups of chopped & peeled potatoes and one cup of chopped & peeled carrots for about 15 minutes
- Drain the potatoes and carrots then add to a blender with all other ingredients
- Blend until smooth. Best served warm.
