Baja California Kombucha Battered No Fish Tacos (Rubios Style) Living in Southern California, I always grabbed Baja tacos from Rubios. This version is better because I tend to add more flavor to my recipes, and I didn't let up on the sauce and flavorful salsa.

Shopping ListÂ
- 1 14 oz jar Heart of Palm
Kombucha Wet Batter
- 1 can of Brew Dr. Kombucha Clear Mind or Kombucha of choice
- 1 + 1/4 cups of flour
- 2 tsp of garlic powder
- 2 tsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp of chili powder
- Lime zest
Dry Batter
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/4 cup of arrowroot powder or cornstarch
- 2 tsp of garlic powder
- 2 tsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp of chili powder
- Lime zest
Additional Ingredients:
- Lime juice
- Salsa
- Macadamia cream sauce or sauce of choice
- Shredded cabbage
- Chalupas or taco shells

Directions
- Create the wet and dry batter on the side.
- Smash the heart of the palm with a bowl or press to create a better texture.
- Dip the heart of the palm in the dry batter first, then the wet batter, and fry until crispy.
- Build tacos with shredded cabbage, the heart of palm, salsa, sauce, and lime zest, and enjoy!
