Ingredients:
2-3 Lion's Mane mushroom balls
Wet Batter
- 1 cup unsweetened plant milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2 tsp of smoked paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Dry Batter
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 tbsp of steak seasoning
Nashville Hot Sauce
- 1/3 cup of vegan butter melted
- 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbsp of agave
- 2 tsp of chopped garlic
- 2 tsp of onion powder
- 2 Tbsp of chili sauce
- 2 smoked paprika
- Salt to taste
Other Ingredients:
- Steak Fries
- Vegan ranch
- Pickles slices
- Green onions

Directions
Instructions:
- Clean and prep Lion's Mane. Add to a pan, cook on medium, and press all the water out of the mushroom with the press or another pan. Place to the side.
- First, mix apple cider vinegar and plant milk (Plant-Based Buttermilk). Place to the side for 5 minutes. Add other ingredients for the wet batter to the plant milk and mix. Mix all ingredients for the dry batter.
- Dip the Lion's Mane mushroom into the wet and dry batter.
- Air fry at 400 degrees or fry at 375 degrees until crispy.
- Create Nashville hot sauce by adding all ingredients to a saucepan and cooking it on low for 2 -3 minutes—Glaze Lion's Mane mushroom.
- Serve with steak fries, pickle slices with ranch and green onions, and pickles.
