Bang Bang Lion's Mane Skrimpz
Bang Bang Skrimpz! Let's gooo! These crispy skrimpz pair perfectly with this creamy, sweet & spicy sauce. Sprinkle with some green onions for a vegan remake of a restaurant classic. Enjoy!

Shopping List
Bang Bang Sauce
- 1/4 cup vegan mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 Tbsp + 1.5 tsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp chili oil
Wet Batter
- 1 cup flour
- 2 sheets nori, blended into powder
- 1.5 cups water
- 2 Tbsp tapioca starch
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Dry Batter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- to taste salt & pepper
Additional Ingredients
- 1/2 pound Lion's Mane mushroom
Garnish Ingredients
- chopped green onions
Directions
- Pull apart Lion’s Mane into shrimp-like sized pieces
- Create wet batter
- Create dry batter
- Mix ingredients together for Bang Bang Sauce
- Dip Lion's Mane pieces into the wet batter & then into the dry batter
- Deep fry or air fry at 370 degrees Fahrenheit (I prefer to use grape seed oil for frying)
- Toss Skrimpz with Bang Bang Sauce (or serve as a dipping sauce)
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions
